IT Support Specialist Level I

Position Summary
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist Level I to join our Technical Services team. Responsibilities include providing level I support by troubleshooting and resolving user computer problems reported to the helpdesk; responding to trouble tickets/support requests via telephone, email, and in person; performing asset inventory and tracking locations of all IT assets; supporting A/V equipment; and other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in an IT environment
- Experience working with software/hardware installation and upgrades
- Basic troubleshooting skills—desktops and laptops
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Virus/Malware removal skills
- Proficiency in Windows 7
- Knowledge of call-tracking applications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Proactive, self-starter
