Position Summary

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist Level I to join our Technical Services team.  Responsibilities include providing level I support by troubleshooting and resolving user computer problems reported to the helpdesk; responding to trouble tickets/support requests via telephone, email, and in person; performing asset inventory and tracking locations of all IT assets; supporting A/V equipment; and other duties as required. 

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in an IT environment
  • Experience working with software/hardware installation and upgrades
  • Basic troubleshooting skills—desktops and laptops
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Virus/Malware removal skills
  • Proficiency in Windows 7
  • Knowledge of call-tracking applications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-starter
