Our Summer Consultant Program (ranked #2 of the top 10 summer intern programs for consulting firms by Vault), is an intensive 10-week program that provides rising seniors with an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities while making meaningful contributions to the firm. Responsibilities include:
- Financial, legal, and statistical research and analysis
- Database design and development
- Client report preparation
During the first week, you’ll participate in a thorough internal training program, which provides the tools you’ll need to contribute to many aspects of a project. Throughout the summer you will enjoy social events such as city tours, sports outings, and a senior leadership dinner. The Summer Consultant Program is a great way to begin a career at Bates White as it provides a solid foundation upon which to build should you return following graduation. If you return to Bates White as a full-time Consultant, you will hit the ground running!
We seek individuals who are motivated by intellectually stimulating work, possess an outstanding academic record, and exude leadership qualities. An aptitude for numbers and analysis is highly valued. We also look for personal qualities that include creativity, energy, independence, self-confidence, and tenacity.
Candidates should be current juniors (rising seniors) pursing an undergraduate degree. Undergraduate-level training in accounting, computer science, economics, engineering, finance, mathematics, physics, or statistics is helpful, but not necessary.
