Career paths

Our Principals support the Bates White mission, vision, and values and are responsible for ensuring high-level deliverables are provided to clients. They are highly skilled at managing large, complex projects and multiple client relationships.

Principals work closely with Partners to identify and develop new business opportunities as they work toward developing individual practice areas. Our Principals also have responsibility for mentoring staff and creating effective working relationships within their teams.

Desired qualifications

Principals must possess excellent presentation and communication skills and have demonstrated experience in assessing client needs, suggesting value propositions, and integrating multiple ideas in an organized manner. They must be experienced at managing large teams and complex engagements to ensure delivery of the highest quality work product. They must demonstrate excellent judgment skills and have a keen ability to delegate and manage work efficiently. Principals should have a strong ability to develop, implement, and present well thought-out ideas and complex data models with the ability to work well under pressure.

Educational requirements

A terminal degree in a related field or a combination of relevant education and experience is required. A minimum of five years of progressive experience in client service or relevant industry environment is required with three years of experience in a supervisory role.
