For the ninth consecutive year, Bates White ranked among the Vault Top 50 consulting firms in the United States. The firm improved its rating from 2017, ranking #33 of all consulting firms, and was included in the top 20 economic firms, at #14. Vault surveys consistently rank Bates White as having one of the top summer internship programs for consulting.
Employees at Bates White value the firm’s culture and high-quality work. One stated, “The biggest asset of Bates White by far is the people. The quality of both the junior and senior staff is excellent, and the smaller size of the firm allows for plenty of opportunities for junior staff to work with the most experienced partners at the firm.” Another commented, “Employees are genuinely given the room and opportunities to grow, and the mentorship and feedback needed to develop professionally.”
On learning the results, Charlie Mullin, Bates White Managing Partner, said, “These results reflect the firm’s commitment to providing each employee with a quality work experience—a place where people are passionate, empowered, engaged, and excited to work.”
Vault is a leading provider of information and career advice to professionals in the consulting industry. The 2018 Vault rankings of consulting firms are based on a survey of more than 16,000 consultants.
Bates White was also named in Global Competition Review’s prestigious “Economics 21” and was awarded the #1 Washington Post Top Workplace for mid-size companies in DC in 2017.
