The 2014 Vault Top Internship Survey ranked Bates White Economic Consulting′s Summer Intern Program as #2 for consulting firms and #3 across all firms.
More than 7,700 interns at more than 100 internship programs participated in the survey. The results are based on the average of the interns’ ratings in five categories for consulting firms: quality of life, compensation and benefits, interview process, career development, and full-time employment prospects.
In completing the survey, one former Bates White Summer Consultant noted, "the internship treated me like a full-time hire. They gave me real responsibility and meaningful work that contributed to cases." Another said, "Almost everything about the internship was amazing: the event programming, the meaningful work, the people, the firm culture, and the opportunity to provide input on the projects you wanted to work on."
Bates White offers Summer Consultants a comprehensive 10-week program that includes extensive training, quantitative and qualitative client work, mentoring by senior leadership, social events, and opportunities to organize a community service project. “Many of our employees participate in making our summer program successful, and we are delighted to receive this recognition,” said David DeRamus, Bates White Managing Partner.
