The Washington Post named Bates White the #16 Top Workplace for mid-size companies in Washington, DC. This is the sixth consecutive year the firm received this recognition.
Managing Partner Charlie Mullin said, “Taking care of our employees has always been a priority, and during the pandemic, we placed even greater emphasis on meeting employees’ needs, finding ways to increase engagement, and keeping everyone motivated. It is heartwarming to receive this recognition, especially since the ranking is based on our employees’ feedback. We are proud to retain this standing among the top DC workplaces and even more proud of our employees, who are dedicated to delivering high-quality work for clients, supporting each other, and giving back to the community.”
The ranking is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage. In the survey, employees rate company culture, direction, values, and work. In completing the survey for 2021, many Bates White employees noted that they love their jobs because of interesting and engaging work, career opportunities, amazing colleagues, open and supportive culture, an extensive community program, and compassionate leadership.
Bates White has also won awards in the past several years from Vault. Most recently, the firm was named the #32 top consulting firm and the 13th top economic consulting firm in the country (see more here). In addition, Vault ranked the firm’s summer internship program #1 twice in the past four years.
