GoodSeeker named Bates White to its list of top 20 value-driven employers for mid-sized companies in Washington, DC. For this inaugural listing, GoodSeeker researched more than 2,000 companies with 100–500 employees, looking for clear evidence of a commitment to employee success. Bates White earned a spot among companies that put employees at the center of their brand. Companies named to the inaugural list of large employers include Gallup, Marriott International, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Mars.
Stacy Reyan, Chief People Officer, said, “We are thrilled to be recognized by GoodSeeker on its first list of value-driven employers. We strive to provide a culture of learning, mentoring, and engagement across many dimensions—from developing professional expertise to sharing cultural backgrounds and giving back to the community. The voice of our employees is critical to our success, and we are proud that voice drives many of our programs. This recognition tells us we are ‘walking the talk.’”
The GoodSeeker methodology focuses on how companies promote employee success and how engaged employees are with the company culture. GoodSeeker reviews company websites, scans social media to see what employees are saying about their employers, and checks sites such as Glassdoor and Vault to see what else employees are saying. Each element gets a score and a weight, which GoodSeeker uses in its scoring methodology. For more information on the ranking and scoring methodology, click here.
Bates White was also recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace for 2021 and named by Vault as a top-50 ranked consulting firm with the #3 ranked summer internship program.
