The Washington Post named Bates White the #15 Top Workplace for mid-size companies in Washington, DC. This is the fifth consecutive year the firm received this recognition, moving up 14 spots this year from #29 in 2019.
Managing Partner Charlie Mullin said, “We are honored and proud to continue our standing among the top DC workplaces. This award is a distinction accorded by our employees, who are dedicated to delivering high-quality work for clients, supporting each other, and giving back to the community. This accolade says we are all succeeding.”
The ranking is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage, where employees rate their company culture, direction, values, and work. When completing the survey for 2020, many Bates White employees noted that they love their jobs because of the career opportunities, amazing colleagues, interesting and challenging work, open and collaborative culture, extensive community program, and compassionate leadership. In fact, the Washington Post featured one of our employees in an article on flexible schedules.
Mullin remarked, “Since it was founded, Bates White has committed to giving employees a high-quality work experience. This Top Workplace recognition tells us that we continue to make Bates White a place where people enjoy working.”
Bates White has also won awards in the past several years from Vault as being among the top 50 consulting firms in the country—the #13 economic firm—and as the top program for summer interns in 2019.
