The council organizes diversity training on a wide range of topics including unconscious bias, inclusive intelligence, systemic inequities, microtriggers, and cultural humility. These interactive programs provide opportunities for colleagues to recognize and confront their unconscious biases, share their perspectives, and learn from one another.
What we do
Training
Education and awareness
To help employees deepen their understanding of diversity and inclusion in today’s world, the council shares articles in our bi-weekly newsletter. We have also held other educational programming around understanding and valuing generational differences and the racial wealth gap.
Community support
The D-I Council organizes fundraisers to support organizations focused on increasing opportunities for disadvantaged communities. For the second year, in conjunction with Black History Month, the D-I Council organized a fundraiser for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, an organization that provides college-bound HBCU students with scholarships and enrichment programs.

We are eager to teach and learn from one another
"It is important to educate ourselves and our firm on unconscious biases, and to build programs that achieve equity, fairness, and opportunity. Awareness and training are key, and firm leadership, working with our D-I Council, is committed to implementing programs that address unintended biases and challenge our thinking.
