Manager Kayuna Fukushima will moderate the ABA Antitrust virtual panel “No Dessert in Retail Deserts.” This panel will explore the antitrust law, economics, and policy implications of retail deserts, i.e., neighborhoods with minimal access to retail stores, including pharmacies and grocery stores. Panelists will discuss the prevalence of retail deserts, the role of anticompetitive practice in their creation, and recent government initiatives to transform the food system in the United States.
