Pauline Kennedy speaks at Women in Antitrust conference

Principal Pauline Kennedy will speak at the annual GCR Live Women in Competition conference. Her panel, “Increasing Intervention,” will discuss whether competition authorities around the world are increasingly intervening in deals that involve the acquisition of nascent rivals and stretching jurisdictional rules to tackle certain mergers. Panelists will consider, among other things, the Sabre-Farelogix case, in which the companies are fighting the UK’s Competition & Markets Authority on jurisdiction after it blocked their deal and the US Department of Justice’s sharing of information with the UK enforcer to help steer the block.
