Partner Nicholas Hill will participate in the Fifth Annual Antitrust and Tech Conference on December 12. The conference theme is “Assessing the Biden Administration’s Antitrust Agenda: Looking Backward, Looking Forward.” With co-panelists, Dr. Hill will address questions such as themes and priorities in the policy pronouncements and enforcement decisions of the agencies; whether the agencies have succeeded in broadening the range of goals and policy concerns addressed by the antitrust laws; how the draft guidelines may influence the future of innovation, investment in start-ups, and the acquisition strategies of firms of varying sizes and in a range of industries; and whether the standards for evaluating allegedly exclusionary conduct will alter common practices.
The moderators are William E. Kovacic, Professor and Director, Competition Law Center, George Washington University Law School, and Andrew I. Gavil, Professor, Howard University School of Law and Senior of Counsel, Crowell & Moring, LLP.
