Annual CRESSE conferences focus on competition and/or regulation issues, with an emphasis on the policy relevance of recent research. During the 2024 CRESSE conference, Partners Eric Emch and Leslie Marx will take part in several sessions:
- July 5—Dr. Marx participates in the panel "The Role of Platforms for Facilitating Anticompetitive Communication: Retail Gasoline in Australia." Dr. Emch is a panelist in the Special Policy Session "Use and Reliability of Empirical Approaches in Competition Cases."
- July 6—Dr. Marx speaks on the panel "Price Coordination with Asymmetric Information Sharing: Theory and Evidence." She also chairs the Competition Policy keynote lecture on "Artificial Intelligence, Data and Competition Policy" by Julian Wright.
- July 7—Dr. Marx chairs the Special Policy Session "Cartel Screening and Machine Learning."
