Persuading Policy-Makers

Economist Christian Salas has published an article “Persuading Policy-Makers” in the Journal of Theoretical Politics. Dr. Salas studies the strategic use of tools such as opinion polls to persuade policy-makers. He finds that, even when an interest group always wants the same policy regardless of the state of the world, voters can sometimes benefit from the group’s activity. See more here.
