Bates White was named the #1 Top Workplace for mid-size companies in DC by The Washington Post. "We were thrilled to be recognized as the top workplace, especially since it was only our second year applying for the award," said Charlie Mullin, Bates White Managing Partner.
The results were based on a survey of more than 52,000 employees from 300 organizations in the DC area. It focused on company values, leadership, and work environment. In filling out the survey, Bates White employees noted the firm's community program, which allows them to propose and implement activities to support their favorite nonprofit organizations. In fact, The Washington Post highlighted the firm's “Balloon Wars” initiative, which was conceived by Bates White's Summer Consultants to raise money for Camp Kesem GW.
“This award acknowledges our collegial and collaborative culture and environment," said Mullin. "We are proud of the tremendous dedication and commitment of our employees to our colleagues, clients, and the community.”
Bates White has also won awards in the past several years from Vault as a Top 50 Consulting Firm and as having one of the top three summer intern programs for consulting firms. The firm was also named in Global Competition Review’s prestigious “Economics 21.”
