The Industrial Organization Society recently presented two Bates White partners with awards in recognition of their accomplishments in the field of industrial organization.
Dr. Michael Whinston was presented the 2016 Distinguished Fellow award, which is given annually in recognition of excellence in research, education and leadership.
In addition, Dr. Joseph Farrell was presented the 2016 Distinguished Service Award, which is given annually in recognition of professional leadership in the scholarship and practice of industrial organization.
The awards were presented at the 2016 International Industrial Organization Conference in Philadelphia, where Dr. Whinston served as the keynote speaker.
